ProRail and Transport Operators: From Frustrations to Co-Creation on the Railway
ProRail is the manager of the Dutch railway network. In this role, ProRail enters into agreements with all transport operators for the use of the railways. Over time, the relationship with some railway operators had deteriorated due to long-standing issues, making collaboration difficult. To restore this, ProRail sought new ways to shape the partnership.
Insight and Co-Creation for Sustainable Collaboration
Through a needs and motivations study with transport operators, Forum identified unspoken frustrations as unmet needs. Thanks to these new insights and a focus on shared goals and co-creation, the collaboration has fundamentally changed. ProRail and transport operators are now building the future of the Dutch railway together, with a renewed relationship based on mutual understanding and shared ambitions.
